S.E.E. Expo2010: S.E.E. the Action!

ABC's of Action: Agriculture, Buildings & Cars!
The 9th Annual S.E.E. Expo is all about... ACTION!

The light is finally shining for sustainable actions after eight dark years. Nine years ago when the first S.E.E. Expo was held, climate change was 'debatable', nuclear & fossil fuels were 'unlimited' and 'affordable' ...while green technology and sustainability were downplayed... or even ridiculed. Times have changed! The debate is over, it's time for Action!

Nearly 50,000 participants over the last 9 years at the S.E.E. Expo have learned that we can affordably harness clean energy, build better homes, grow healthy local foods, rebuild our economy and improve our transportation infrastructure.

S.E.E. ExpoThis year it's all about the Actions we're taking NOW and -what YOU can do- to be a part of the needed change for a more secure, stable future.  Investments in local agriculture, green building, energy and transportation are the basic elements that we, as individuals and a community, can directly and positively develop and support.

Join us for the 10th Annual Southern Energy & Environment Expo as a Sponsor, Exhibitor or Visitor!

250 MegaWatts of Community Action!!!

The 9th Annual S.E.E. Expo announces an unprecedented regional effort, "250 MegaWatts of Community Action". Want to slow climate change? Encourage new good paying sustainable jobs? Help keep billions of dollars in our economy?

It's time for "250 MegaWatts of Community Action"!

The goal is simple and straightforward: Document our ongoing energy savings and clean energy production in the region while offering the public information about currently available options for energy efficiency and clean technology investments.

It's time to partner with our utilities to reduce the current peak demand and baseload energy currently wasted through efficiency, clean energy sources and new community programs, and encourage their transition to a sustainable economic plan for profits.

Breaking News in July: Progress Energy's Western Region partners with our "250 MegaWatts" campaign while it rolls out a wide range of new programs!
